One of the best recipes is rosemary and lavender. They are a very hard working duo. You should use about 6dr rosemary and 10 dr lavender per 1 ounce of jojoba oil.
For children you should always use 1% dilution of the essential oils.. for adults in this case i would safely go up to 3%

Re: Grow Long Hair With Essential Oils

Thanks for sharing this informative content with us. I really like it. Essential oil helps your hair grow. If you have dull hair, this essential oil can restore it. I read one article say using ginger oil also can help to cure the thinning hair. Which is using the fresh ginger mix with the sesame oil. The latest trend in hair care products is all about oils and most products promote just one type of oil which may or may not have the most beneficial elements for hair.

Re: Grow Long Hair With Essential Oils

Normally I wouldn’t comment on posts but I felt that I had to as your writing style is actually good. I have tried everything you can imagine just to see what works. I have found that natural oils mixed in a non alcohol product works best for me. My girlfriend says it weighs her hair down and I agree but keep in mind I have locks and depending on the style you wear you may appreciate this affect. I quickly noticed that with natural oils my hair had more shine, hold, grew longer and even locked quicker. I have thick hair that gets dry for no reason, so for me natural oils are the only way. I recently mixed EVOO in with some other oils today and I already like it. It's just extra from what was already working for my hair. You have to see how far my locks have come in four years using these natural oils. They are healthy, long and neat. Tip: use what works best for your hair type but try to use all natural products and stay away from alcohol and propane products. the more natural the better especially if you have locks.

Re: Grow Long Hair With Essential Oils

Thanks for the tip for using castor oil for thinning hair. Is it only thick as long as you continue to use it and once you stop your hair is thin again?

Re: Grow Long Hair With Essential Oils

For those of you interested in using a combination of the previously mentioned oils pre-mixed, try Kera Care essential oils for the hair. Here is a list of the ingredients:
sunflower seed oil
peanut oil
castor oil
coconut oil
jojoba oil
sesame oil
aloe vera oil
almond oil
olive oil

After reading this post, I purchased peppermint oil and added it as well. I plan to get vitamin e and the essential oils mentioned in this post to add to this premix.

I use this Kera Care mix daily (very little before wrapping at night).

It has an option for use as a thermal styling agent as well.

After a fresh wash I rub about a nickel worth in my palm and fingertips and rub throughout my hair. I use the blowdryer briefly to make sure that it is applied throughout and style with a curling iron. The results are amazing. Shiny healthy hair. I make curls all throughout and wear a cute 1940's curl wave look. I wrap nightly for the next few days and repeat. I have been using Kera Care for about a month and I love it. Not too heavy. I added the peppermint about a week ago.

Esquire and Pinkie using this product esp as a thermal styling agent leaves my hair looking and feeling flowly and weightless.
Good luck!

Re: Grow Long Hair With Essential Oils

Pinkie, I have the exact same problem. I usually wait to use olive oil when I am about to resort to ponytails and wash n go styles. In the meantime, I use the Aveda Brilliant serum and it seems to keep my hair moisturized without weighing it down. But I totally feel your pain on the slightest amount of oil making your hair lifeless. My friend just came out with a line of natural hair products. Check them out: www.luvamourai.com

Re: Grow Long Hair With Essential Oils

I really want to try olive oil too. I have an Olive Oil sheen spray from ORG that I use and that's pretty good. My only issue with oils is that it makes my hair so lifeless and weighed down. Even if it's just a little bit. I am trying to find a way to make sure that my hair gets the moisture that it needs with oils, without weighing it down. decisions.. decisons... decisions.....

Pinkie
www.pinkdiamondpr.blogspot.com

Re: Grow Long Hair With Essential Oils

This is good.
